Check this page often for updated listings of all types of cycling events in and around our area. Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your biggest smile! Many rides are held subject to weather. It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements, too. We'll see you out there — and have fun!
|Sep 8, 2018||Sourland Spectacular||The Sourland Spectacular starts Sept. 8th from the Otto Kaufman Center, (OKC) 356 Skillman Rd. Skillman NJ. Parking is at Montgomery High School across the street. Rides are 5, 27, 35, 52 and 65 miles in length with enough hills to get over and keep it interesting. Snacks, water and toilets are available at rest stops along the the routes. Schedule your ride to get back to OKC around 11AM-1PM for a delicious truck lunch that is served after the ride along with a homemade ice cream sundae. Cue sheets will be available online and road arrows will mark the scenic routes through the quiet roads of the Sourland region.|
|Sep 15, 2018||#CaringForRare Bicycling Event Weekend||V5 Cycles, 140 Hwy 31, Flemington||For the third year in a row, Avery's Hope has brought an amazing cycling event to Hunterdon County. There will be a century, metric, half metric and a family friendly 15 mile towpath ride. This year we are taking a step back to our roots and remembering why we choose to ride. Our two longer distances will head out and back from Hunterdon County NJ and head through beautiful Lambertville and then out into Bucks County, PA.||908-824-7881|
